saying goodbye to Grandma Hackitt

Grandma Hackitt passed away on January 29th.  Her funeral was last week.  Most of the Macdonald family was able to come down for her.  She was such a cute little lady and always made me laugh, like when Travis told her we were expecting our 4th baby she smiled and said, "now don't you think that's enough."  I know the kids will miss seeing her and Cali (her cat) and trying to play on her cart/walker.

Grandma Sandy and Meda.  Grandma let Meda put on her make-up & perfume, she was in heaven.  They both look dazzling.  Meda also set up a tea party and invited me, Grandma and Bear, but insisted we wear "cute dresses" so she brought Grandma my maternity dress and I got to wear my Laura Ashley high school graduation dress.  Grandma was such a good sport and made Meda's day.
Watching Ramona & Beezus with Malia, Evan & Isaac before bed.
Malia putting Bear's shoes on.  We went to the park and after went swimming, it was so cold but the kids had fun.

Travis' cousins sang Amazing Grace, it was beautiful.
Uncle Todd, who is beloved by all children lovingly held Meda for a long time then handed her over to Tyler who also had a long turn.                                                                   Evan

Bear & Evan. Bear can't stop talking about Evan since he left.  Everywhere we go he says, "there's Eban."  We love this cute little guy.

Sweet Anne was so nice to Bear and played with him
constantly.  I told them to smile for the picture and
they quickly hugged and put their purses on.  Cute kids.
We are so grateful for the fun time we got to spend with our family celebrating the life of a beautiful lady who is loved by so many.
